Customers want to use AI when they shop for the holidays.

According to a Sapio Research report, a lot of holiday shoppers this year intend to employ AI technologies to help them pick the ideal presents and deals.

Sixty-nine percent of consumers stated they believed AI would make it simpler to find new brands and items. Shoppers with high incomes are even more inclined to employ AI.

Furthermore, 74% of consumers believe AI will search for discounts and exclusive offers as they shop. 67% believe that useful recommendations based on previous purchases will be provided by predictive AI.

Brand worth. Customers view forward-thinking AI tools as a sign of a brand’s success. For example, 39% of respondents stated that they are more likely to purchase from a company that incorporates AI into the purchasing process.

Five out of ten consumers stated they would stick with a company that employed integrated AI.

Why it matters to us. Brand loyalty is challenged by the level of competition that exists online during seasons of peak sales. Regardless of the brand or retailer, consumers are typically searching for the best offer. Customer satisfaction is important, though. Differentiating vendors can be aided by AI systems for discovery and relevant product recommendations.

Social buying. Significant interest in purchasing on social media sites was also discovered by the survey.

According to one-third of respondents, Instagram would probably be the first place they shop directly, closely followed by Facebook (31%) and TikTok (28%).

It should be mentioned that the sophisticated AI models on all of these platforms are employed to provide users with content. It makes sense that customers who respect AI in other settings would want to use these platforms for their shopping.
